If you’re craving for strawberries but they’re out of season, you can grow strawberries for your own supply. All you need is an upside down strawberry planter.
You can order starter kits off the Internet. Do your research and read a strawberry planter review before you buy strawberry planter.
One of the advantages of growing your own strawberries is that you can keep them completely organic and pesticide and chemical free.
Make sure to familiarize yourself with the different types of strawberries so that you knowwhat you’re buying and growing. The Ever-bearing variety will produce two crops, in June and late summer. However, the fruits tend to be smaller.
For the first season, it is recommended that you pinch off all the flowers until midsummer. This way the strawberries will grow in two crops.
It is also a good idea to consult your local nursery or garden center to ask which variety grows best in which clime.
Alpine strawberries are small and yummy, but you need a lot of plants in order to be able to grow strawberries, so this might not be the best option for hanging planters.
Day-neutral strawberries will produce fruit for most of the summer, unless the weather gets extremely hot.
Planting hanging strawberries is perfect for those with small spaces. Just make sure that they get plenty of sun – at least six to eight hours. You may also want to turn your plants 180 degrees every so often in order to make sure that all the plants get enough sun.
If there are squirrels or other animals in your area, you may want to put chicken wire around your strawberry planters so that you can enjoy your strawberries instead of the furry critters.
Once you plant your own strawberries you’ll be able to enjoy them freshly picked.

Why plant strawberries upside down? Because you can grow them year-round. This is only one of the many good reasons why you should consider using an upside down strawberry planter.
An upside down strawberry planter also lets you use parts of the house you never utilized. A hanging strawberry planter will fit well into any forgotten corner as long as it is near a window with ample sun.
Climate is not a problem with this method of growing strawberries. Even when it snows, you can simply hang your planter inside the house.
These plants can also serve as a bonding activity for you and your children. Many upside down strawberry planters come in kits with simple instructions. It won’t be hard for a child to follow. Just make sure to read strawberry planter reviews before you buy strawberry planter. This way you’ll know which one is best suited for a child.
Strawberry planters are affordable, starting from around $10 for a strawberry soil bag. Each bag can hold up to 15 plants.
The strawberries are put into the side of the bag. Then their roots are separated. The bag is then hung indoors or outdoors. The plants are put into insertions slots and some soil are added.
This method is also suitable for older people who no longer have the strength to potter around in a traditional garden. Just make sure to water the plants regularly.
If you live in the country and wild animals are constantly raiding your garden, you will be able to keep them away from your strawberries by using hanging planters. You’ll be able to enjoy the fruit of your labor.
In no time at all you’ll be able to enjoy the taste of succulent strawberries. There’ll be extra satisfaction in knowing that you grew them yourself.

A lot of you may be thinking, but what exactly are upside down strawberries? That doesn’t make any sense?
Well, first, you must familiarize yourself with the normal growing of strawberries — or rather, the normal growing of pretty much any crop at all. You see, although gardening is a lot of fun and has also been proven to relieve stress, it can also be very stressful and very annoying for a large variety of reasons. These reasons include but are not limited to: soil problems, air moisture issues, air circulation complications and of course, the biggie, sunlight stressors.
Gardening should be relaxing and when you put the time into something to grow it, you should be rewarded with at least a halfway decent and eatable product. This is not always the case, however…
Enter upside down growing. Or, more specifically and importantly, upside down strawberries. This method of growing allows you to actually grow them from within your very own home and choose the best possible place to grow them — without that place hinging on having soil in it. That’s right — you can grow them hanging down from atop of a window and ultimately enjoy the biggest, most delicious strawberries you can ever imagine because of it.
It’s quick, it’s easy and it will give you the best rewards for your efforts. Are you ready to try upside down strawberry growing yet? (Hint: Of course you are! So get going and stop stressing out over your gardening hobby today!)

It can be easy to grow strawberries, no matter where you live and what climate zone. Even if it’s in an apartment or condo and you don’t have a big yard to plant your garden in. Using the upside down strawberry planter is a great way to grow rich, succulent berries year round even if you don’t have a lot of space available. It can turn unused sections of your deck, patio, or even bedroom into a super place to grow strawberries. All this without the fuss or mess that a regular garden.
When an upside down strawberry planter or strawberry bag is used it can help to increase the yield you are accustomed to seeing from your regular strawberry gardens. Because of the way in which the roots will grow together, and the plants will hang down causing less stress, the growth will be much more than regular plants out in the garden. Not to mention the fact that you won’t have worry about harmful pesticides or other agents you add to your regular garden. Nobody wants that on food they will be eating, and now you won’t have to worry about it.
When you grow your strawberry plants upside down, it will help promote rapid and healthy growth of the plants, with no worries about weeding. When the plants are using less energy to fight the forces of gravity, they are using that reserve energy to grow larger, fuller plants. This means you’ll see larger, plumper strawberries, and even juicier than you’re used to.
The strawberries will become much juicier because of all the extra energy the plant is putting towards growing, instead of keeping its weight up to combat gravity. This creates a win-win situation for you, and for the plants. The strawberry plants will have an easier life-time and longer lifespan while you get to enjoy sweet juicy strawberries all year round.
The upside down strawberry planter should be used with lots of strawberry plants. No more sewing only one seed, with this planter you can put two seeds in every seed port, which creates a much better opportunity for the plants to grow, and take root inside the upside down strawberry bag. This gives you full control over how and where you water, and how much sun the plants get as well as the oxygen in the air will be absorbed by the plant much better because of the added airflow around all the stems and leaves. All of this creates much fuller and bountiful strawberry plants.
The upside down strawberry bag lets you grow strawberries in places you never imagined, with fuller growth, and many more berries with each crop. This translates too much less money spent at the supermarket, and you’ll be well stocked with strawberries year-round. Making jam, or strawberry tarts will never be as fun as it will be when you’re using your own strawberries, from your own plants that you grew right inside your house with no back-breaking garden labor required.

We have a friend that has a cottage up in Northern Quebec, in Canada. She’s been using various methods to grow strawberry plants and tomato plants indoors since she has short summers and has only limited growing time available to her. Last year we told her about the upside down tomato planters that are available and she loved those for her tomato plants. Then later last year we were having a phone conversation and I brought up the new strawberry bag again and how growing upside down strawberries are the new thing to do, especially when there’s in climate weather.
At first she was a little skeptical as to how they would work and if they really could support so many plants, and produce as good of a yield that she was already used to from her tomato planters. We told her we thought that she’d be pleasantly surprised, and that they would work just as good if not better than the tomato planters she was already familiar with. After a little more time spent chatting, she decided to have us order her an upside down strawberry bag. We easily ordered her a bag over the Internet and then shipped it up to her the following day when it arrived.
It’s been a few months now and we spoke to her about the strawberries. The other day we got a call from her though. Goodness was she ever pleased that we had let her know about these wonderful upside down strawberry bags. She went on to explain how they haven’t been having a very great summer this year, and it’s even snowed twice last May, and has already hailed once in June. She carried on explaining how with all this horrible weather and lots of rain she’s still able to have bright leaved plants inside the house, with some strawberries already sprouting on some of them.
All this while she doesn’t even have to go outside and bear the forces of nature, or brave it out to the garden lugging all her tools and watering cans and all the stuff necessary for a proper garden. With the Strawberry bag she can simply have a couple hanging gardens inside, watering as required with a year round yield of delicious strawberries. She was even commenting on how she doesn’t have to use pesticides or setup traps for all the lingering raccoons and foxes that like to come down from the forest and nibble on her berries from time to time.
She has asked us to order her 3 more bags so she can start up another garden, and give two of them to some of her Canadian friends that she thinks will enjoy having the ability to grow upside down strawberries in their cottages year round. At the end of the conversation she even made reference to her earlier skepticism about the upside down strawberry bag, and called herself a dummy for not jumping on the chance when she first could of.
We’ve been hearing nothing but stories like this one submitted to our comments and through friends that have also used the hanging upside down strawberry garden. Whether it’s the weather, saving time or just ease of use, we’ve not heard a single complaint about them yet. What a wonderful way to go about growing large yields of strawberries. Even in Canada.

With the upside down strawberry planter, you can turn unused parts of the house or deck into a strawberry factory very easily and cheaply. Even if you live in a small apartment it’s easy to grow strawberries with this great new invention.
The strawberry bag is the perfect planter to grow rich, bountiful berries year round inside your home. You can also plant them outside, but some climates aren’t the best for that as we’ve discussed in a previous article.
Fighting against gravity, as Newton would surely tell you is not the easiest thing to do. Why put your plants under this kind of strain, when they can simply flow down from the strawberry planter and decorate your home with wonderful looking berries, all year round. Ever had a craving for a strawberry in the dead of winter but they were nowhere to be found? Not anymore!
When strawberry plants are spending less of their energy fighting gravity to grow up towards the sun, they instead put that effort towards producing great, plump and sweet strawberries. Since regular weeds grow up towards the sun, they will not be a problem with the strawberry bag because of its “upside down” nature.
The plants themselves will stretch down, towards the ground instead of up towards the sun. This allows for more leaves to form, and more strawberries. This all happens with the same plants that you would normally plant in your garden. With the strawberry bag, water is naturally pulled through the entire root system and into the foliage, all the while bringing helpful nutrients and benefits to the plant. Win win situation for strawberry lovers.
With the strawberry bag, you can grow amazing strawberries that taste fantastic, in places you never thought of growing plants before. Once you start using the strawberry bag, you will never again look at a sunny wall in your house and wonder what you could put there, because you will always be thinking of placing more strawberry bags.

When you aren’t living in a climate that is always getting great sunshine year round, and temperatures with proper rainfall it can be hard to grow strawberries. Much of the United States lays outside these temperate zones and will only yield fruit during the summer months. Even if you’re located in a dry zone that is warm year round, rain and watering your strawberries isn’t always done at optimal levels.
With the upside down strawberry bag you can grow them year round, without concern for the weather. When you’re growing them year round, you’re sure to always have a large supply of fruit on hand for snacking, canning or making home made strawberry jam.
Growing plants outside or inside the house, especially when up and off the ground will gain better results than normal garderning techniques, reduce the exposure to harmful predators and other baddies that could harm your plants. Not to mention if you’re growing the strawberries inside the house you probably won’t have to use any pesticides on them. Making the final fruit even more healthy for you and your family or whomever is eating the strawberries.
Upside down strawberries are fun for the whole family and will give you great results year round if you plant them indoors or live in a nice temperate zone that will sustain the plant. They’re strawberry bags are also quite affordable at only $10 and the ability to hold 15 plants in their clean and discreet soil bag. They even look nice and add color to your indoor garden, or outdoor garden. Who doesn’t like seeing sweet succulent strawberries in their garden, especially year round!

We’ve all seen the amazing topsy turvey upside down tomato growing system on TV and various newspapers or magazines. They’ll grow your tomatoes bigger, plumper and quicker than growing them in your regular garden. A side benefit is less work, no more bending down and watering your plants, or removing weeds.
What you probably haven’t heard of is the fabulous strawberry bag. This new product lets you grow your strawberries in the same way that upside down tomatoes are grown. What this does is enable you quick access to the roots for watering, and allowing more growth because the sun hits the entire plant, not just the tops of the leaves.
As with all products that work, it’s natural for them to evolve into different markets. Strawberries are a perfect offshoot for upside down growing. Now you can grow strawberries year round outside, or even inside if you’re craving a juicy strawberry in the middle of winter. The plants themselves are not upside down like they are in the tomato planter, however the leaves will hang down which is why we call them upside down strawberries.
The strawberry bag works by inserting your strawberry plants into the side of the bag, separting them nicely and allowing for great water penetration to the roots. The strawberries wil cause less strain on the plant and allow for larger yields, year round. You will probably want to use some sort of hanger system for the bag as it can get quite heavy when you add water.
The bag itself holds up to 15 strawberry plants. Using the patented starburst growing ports, or little openings in the side of the bag that let you insert your plants from the outside, while leaving the soil neatly inside the bag. All while not bending down over the garden and performing backbreaking manual labor.
To actually get the strawberries growing, you just have to hang the strawberry bag up on your porch or by a window inside, put the plants into the insertion slots and then add some more soil to make sure they are completely secure. Following that, all that’s required is repeating the process for the rest of the plants, adding water and watching them grow!
This planter is a great method for older people, or younger people that you don’t want using shovels or trampling around in your garden. Also take into account how much work it will save, and ease of use it will create when watering. No more lugging the hose out and walking across the yard, now you can simply fill a watering can and water it like you would any hanging plant. Pretty sweet.
